Grant Summary: This funding will support the creation of an Oklahoma Academy of Integrated Care (OAIC), administratively housed in the University of Oklahoma Department of Medical Informatics. The OAIC will be charged with curating an ongoing program of Technical Assistance (TA) involving health system transformation in the state towards quality behavioral health and medical care integrated services, in collaboration with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS). The TA program will initially focus on an intensive two-day workshop directed towards existing and upcoming primary-care and psychiatric provider workforce education. It will also establish on ongoing Academy for advanced providers working within Health Home systems undergoing expansive service delivery redesign in collaboration with ODMHSAS towards Oklahoma’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).
